A Ministry That Identifies, Interrupts, & Restores Those Affected By Trauma

ATP Ministries, headed by Victor Marx, is an international organization outreaching to broken youth and families in nations across the globe. Victor is known worldwide for his powerful testimony from abuse and trauma to a transformed life through a personal relationship with Jesus.

Because of his powerful story, humility and unique martial arts background, Victor was able to reach broken, troubled and trafficked youth in speaking engagements across America. Victor then began High Risk International Mission Trips in 2014. Since then, his work has reached Burma, Nigeria, Syria & Iraq.  On his last trip, Victor recovered several children from high risk regions who were lost, confused, and in critical need of medical attention. Damaeah (her before and after pictures are in the image above) provides a clear example of the pain and trauma that a young child can incur due to war.  Victor and his team hope that more children like Damaeah can be recovered and helped through the creation of the new ATP Mercy House Orphanage in Iraq.

Open Doors USA

Open Doors USA is a non-profit organization serving persecuted Christians in more than 60 countries.

Christian persecution is any hostility experienced from the world as a result of one’s identification as a Christian.  Beatings, physical torture, confinement, isolation, severe punishment, imprisonment, slavery, discrimination in education and employment, and even death are just a few examples of the persecution they experience on a daily basis. According to The Pew Research Center, over 75% of the world’s population lives in areas with severe religious restrictions. According to the U.S. Department of State, Christians in these countries face persecution from their governments or surrounding neighbors simply because of their belief in Jesus Christ.

When Open Doors was started by Brother Andrew* in 1955, he felt a calling from God to minister to Christians who were persecuted for their faith. As a result, Open Doors has specialized in helping Christians under persecution for their faith. However, they work with persecuted Christians to reach out to non-Christians, even their persecutors, so that they can reach them with the message of Christ.

* He is called “Brother” Andrew because he is a brother to all who follow Christ.

Voice of the MartyrsThe Voice of the Martyrs

The Voice of the Martyrs is a nonprofit, interdenominational Christian missions organization dedicated to serving our persecuted Christian family worldwide through practical and spiritual assistance and leading other members of the body of Christ into fellowship with them.

The Voice of the Martyrs bases their missions on Hebrews 13:3, which instructs us to “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” The Voice of the Martyrs continues their mission around the world today through the following purposes:

  1. To encourage and empower Christians to fulfill the Great Commission in areas of the world where they are persecuted for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  2. To provide practical relief and spiritual support to the families of Christian martyrs.
  3. To equip persecuted Christians to love and win to Christ those who are opposed to the gospel in their part of the world.

In recent years, VOM workers have distributed more than one million Bibles each year on the world’s most difficult and dangerous mission fields, and they are far from finished!

Mission Statement
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Some of Samaritan’s Purse many ongoing missions projects include:  International Crisis Response, U.S. Disaster Relief, Children’s Ministries and Women’s Programs, Construction Projects, Operation Heal Our Patriots, and Health and Medical Ministries.

Intercessors for AmericaIntercessors For America

Mission Statement

To see God’s purposes for America fulfilled through sustained prayer and Spirit-led obedience. Intercessors for America (IFA) is a 501(c)(3) ministry organization and was founded in 1973 when God impressed upon the hearts of a group of godly, respected men the necessity of prayer and fasting. The nation was experiencing a plethora of problems. The Watergate scandal, Vietnam War, Arab oil embargo, Roe v. Wade, a growing acceptance of drug use, and other challenges were changing the way Americans lived and thought.

A group of Christians at a teaching conference in Florida focused on “prayer for the nations.” Challenged by the fresh and extraordinary teachings of the conference leaders, Derek Prince and Ern Baxter, a half dozen men were chosen to steward the movement of prayer and fasting for the nation. This group would become Intercessors for America. One of the first activities of the organization took place at a large dining table where John Talcott and his wife, Roselyn, wrote and assembled a prayer letter. This prayer letter was mailed to a group of like-minded people who recognized the need for God to intervene in U.S. governmental and cultural issues. From these beginnings, IFA has grown to impact the masses. Our leadership is comprised of staff and a board of directors, some of whom have been with the ministry since its inception.
